The only thing I do differently is roll it thinner. For the sauce I did quick garlic sauce.

I’m sure it did. Something like this will give you more control over thickness and of course uniform size. Ones like this are relatively inexpensive, but I also imagine you will get what you pay for.

A pasta roller is a huge help if you plan to keep on making your own pasta.
I got mine from my mom, she had 2 and never used either of them. I bet you can find one at a thrift shop for cheap too.
